Tuesday Morning Strolls |

Join us for an easy-paced walk the first and third Tuesdays of each month!
This week’s Tuesday Morning Stroll will be held on Tuesday August 17th at Jack Dalton Park. The walk leader will be Melissa Puckett of Henry County Parks & Recreation. The guided walk begins at 9 a.m. and will last approximately one hour.
While on the walk participants will learn interesting information about National Aviation Day and enjoy a remote control plane fight demonstration. Participants are asked to wear comfortable walking shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a bottle of water.
Directions: From Virginia Ave. in Collinsville turn onto King’s Mountain Road. Just before the County Administration Building turn left onto Refuse Road. Meet at the Picnic Shelter.
Tuesday Morning Strolls is a program sponsored by the Dan River Basin Association, Activate Martinsville-Henry County, Henry County Parks & Recreation, the M-HC Coalition for Health and Wellness and Martinsville Leisure Services. Participants are invited to free public walks throughout the year where they can learn about points of interest found around our community. Participants are given a frequent walker card that is punched each time they participate and registers them for prizes.
