Dan River Spring Cleaning!
In the spirit of hunting Easter eggs, whoever collects the most trash wins a basket filled with Spring treats and trinkets! Support riverside beauty by devoting a little time to picking up trash and help the people, plants and animals of the Dan River Basin!
Please bring gloves, rain boots/shoes and water bottle. Trash bags will be provided. There will be a light snack and water jug to fill water bottles.
Meet at the River Walk Trail by the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Bridge, Danville, VA
Parking is available by the bridge in a dirt lot near the River St. and Main St. Intersection.
We will be cleaning along the river banks and trail.
