Recreation & Stewardship Coordinator
Full-time/Location: DRBA’s Henry County, VA office
In this role, you’ll assist with developing and implementing the Martinsville/Henry County Outdoor Recreation Master Plan by evaluating projects, identifying new opportunities and addressing gaps to create a healthier, more vibrant community. You’ll also work closely with the Recreation & Stewardship Manager to support basin-wide initiatives including building partnerships, rain barrel workshops, citizen water quality monitoring and river cleanups in addition to contributing to grant writing, planning and public outreach.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong project management and communication skills, a love for outdoor recreation and conservation and the ability to thrive both independently and on a team.
