Tuesday Morning Strolls |

Join us for an easy-paced walk the first and third Tuesdays of each month!
This week’s Tuesday Morning Stroll will be held on Tuesday August 3rd at the Libery Fair Mall . The walk leader will be Betsy Pace of Martinsville Park & Recreation. The guided walk begins at 9 a.m. and will last approximately one hour.
While on the walk participants will celebrate going back to school and discover some of the interesting continuing education courses offered for adults at the campus. Participants are asked to wear comfortable walking shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a bottle of water.
Directions: Follow 220N towards Collinsville; turn right on Commonwealth Blvd. Liberty Fair Mall is on left. Meet inside at the former Goody’s entrance.
Tuesday Morning Strolls is a program sponsored by the Dan River Basin Association, Activate Martinsville-Henry County, Henry County Parks & Recreation, the M-HC Coalition for Health and Wellness and Martinsville Parks & Recreation. Participants are invited to free public walks throughout the year where they can learn about points of interest found around our community. Participants are given a frequent walker card that is punched each time they participate and registers them for prizes.
