DRBA has an immediate opportunity for a part-time Programs Coordinator to work with DRBA’s Program Manager at our Yanceyville office and with other staff as needed to assist with the development and presentation of nature-based programs for all ages, from school children to senior citizens.  

The Programs Coordinator will work with stakeholder organizations and individuals to assess the needs of the local community and develop a range of programs, from short walks, to longer hikes, to indoor presentations. Prior experience and expertise in plant and animal identification is a plus.

Must be energetic, people-oriented (specifically children and seniors), organized and an engaging speaker. Must enjoy working in rural areas. An appreciation of the outdoors is required. Knowledge of MS Office software is essential.
