Just above the put in is a well-preserved Native
American rock fish trap, clearly visible from
the bridge. This section has several series of
ledges that require a lot of maneuvering back
and forth across the width of the river. One
fourth mile below the bridge is the “Boiling
Hole” a 3 foot drop with more ledges to maneuver
around. The Boiling Hole is a favorite play spot
for kayakers.
