Hidden Rivers Premier Film Presentation

Hosted by the Virginia Museum of Natural History and the Dan River Basin Association

@ Virginia Museum of Natural History

21 Starling Avenue

Martinsville, Virginia 24112

The Virginia Museum of Natural History, in conjunction with the Dan River Basin Association, is pleased to serve as a host for the premier presentation of the film "Hidden Rivers of Southern Appalachia".

The 1-hour film explores the rivers and streams of the Southern Appalachian region, North America’s most biologically rich waters. The film follows the work of conservation biologists and explorers throughout the region - revealing both the beauty and vulnerability of aquatic life - and how many people are finding ways to protect these ecosystems.

The screening is free to attend and open to the public, but RSPV's are requested by contacting Charlotte Harter at charlotte.harter@vmnh.virginia.gov or 276-634-4162.  The RSVP deadline is Monday, November 11 at 5 p.m.  Space is limited to the first 100 RSVP's.  If you do not RSVP, we cannot guarantee that you will have access to the screening.
