Join us for a Volunteer Trail Work Day at the Spencer Penn Centre!

10:00am - Noon

Join us for a morning of trail work. 

We need volunteers to help:

·     Move large metal debris (angle and sheet metal) from the trail to the adjoining woods 

·     Cut dead trees that are possible fall hazards and remove from trail

·     Clean the trail of trash and other debris

·     Prune limbs as necessary if overhanging trail and cut all rose bushes

·     Repair bridge (wood is rotting) and steps leading to bridge

·     Mow or weed wack a path from the bridge

·     Build raised flower boxes

·     With planting flowers and landscaping

DRBA will supply building materials, we have limited gloves and some tools. If you have gloves, mower, week wacker, reciprocating saw, metal cutting blades, pruners, rakes, shovels or torch, please bring with you! Please dress appropriately for the heat and high grass/woods. Masks are strongly encouraged.
