Wild & Scenic Virtual Film Festival

DRBA is proud to host the virtual Wild & Scenic Film Festival and offer this unique experience in our region!

Considered one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals, this year’s films combine stellar filmmaking, beautiful cinematography and first-rate storytelling to inform, inspire and ignite solutions and possibilities to restore the earth and human communities while creating a positive future for the next generation. Festival-goers can expect award-winning films about nature, community activism, adventure, conservation, water, energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental justice, agriculture and more.

The South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) manages the Wild & Scenic Film Festival to inspire environmental activism and a love for nature–through film. Wild & Scenic shares an urgent call to action, encouraging festival-goers to learn more about what they can do to save our threatened planet.  SYRLC takes this festival on tour to more than 180 communities each year, partnering with groups who are working to protect and restore the important places in their communities, like DRBA.
