DRBA 20th Annual Meeting and First Saturday Outing
You and your family and friends are invited to the 20th Annual Business Meeting of the Dan River Basin Association (DRBA), beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022. This will be an online Zoom meeting and registration is required.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
The online meeting, free and open to the public, will highlight some of DRBA’s accomplishments in 2021 and a short business session that includes election of board members.
At 1:30 in the afternoon, guests are invited to an easy guided out-and-back one-mile hike in Eden, NC to view the Bear Slide, a Natural Heritage Area. Meet at the Salvation Army Eden Store parking lot at 346 W. Kings Hwy, Eden, NC (GPS: 36.490791, -79.749864).
Those joining the hike should dress accordingly and be prepared to sign a waiver.
For safety and respect for outing participants, DRBA strongly encourages you to be vaccinated and to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when in a group setting, even outdoors.
