Urban Forest Interpretive Trail Ribbon Cutting

Thanks to funding from the Eco Ambassador Council (EAC), Virginia Department of Forestry Urban Community & Forestry Grant, and Henry County Parks and Recreation, DRBA installed an Urban Forest Interpretive Trail and made enhancements to the outdoor classroom at the Smith River Eco-Learning Station in 2025.  DRBA is inviting the public and our partners to a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 21st at 10am.  Anyone planning to attend the ceremony must pre-register by 4/20 at 5pm.  Light refreshments will be provided at the ribbon cutting.

The ribbon cutting will follow with a trout release for anyone who would like to stay! Registration is required.
