Humans have always found awe and wonder in the natural world around us. We admire it, we value it, and sometimes we transform it. The beauty of nature inspires us to create our own beauty. ''Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life,'' said the famous Spanish painter, Pablo Picasso. Join DRBA’s Melissa Mericle, during a Lunch with DRBA webinar, as she explores the art in and around the Rockingham County region of the Dan River basin. Along her journey she has an in-depth conversation with local mosaic artist, Teresa Talley Phillips.
