The annual Smith River Fest Demo Pool! We need volunteers like YOU, please sign up for however many hours you are available, click a few shifts if you are so inclined!
There are 8 slots available for each hour. We'd love all the help we can get!
We encourage all volunteers to wear their own lifejackets at the demo pool as a good example of what is expected in an open water setting. Bring your own if you have one! Sandals/water shoes with traction will work best for the pool lining.
Volunteers are expected to work with children and their parents for a quick demonstration of paddling in a controlled setting. Various boats will be available for the children to explore.
We will have water bottles and a few snacks, please plan to bring your own meal or purchase one at Smith River Fest. Breaks will be continuous throughout the shifts and frequent as the weather is expected to be HOT!
