Safety Paddle Classes

Join DRBA and partners throughout the region for paddle safety classes!

Over the past 24 years, DRBA has made it a mission to create a safe atmosphere for people to explore the region. We are hosting over 12 paddle safety classes throughout the region for beginners and intermediates. 

 

What to expect at a paddle class: 

  • Learn the basic paddle strokes to protect yourself from injury
  • Understand weather conditions
  • Learn about Blueway navigation
  • How to properly fit a boat/boat types
  • How to put safety into your own hands and make the right decision for your level of experience

Danville: Abreu Grogan Park
